Bollywood dance has evolved over the ages from using Indian classical and folks moves to using more western styles like HipHop, Jazz, Arabic and Latin moves. Our Bollywood dance class is a fusion of all these dance styles choreographed and danced to some of the latest and greatest Bollywood movie soundtracks. The class starts with a warm up, cardio, strengthening and stretching exercises followed by learning step -by- step choreography to Bollywood music. D.I.Fit

A dance fitness class designed to make you sweat! Class consists of energetic, exciting, and fun dance routines choreographed to the latest and greatest Bollywood, Bhangra, HipHop and Latin beats to get you grooving into shape. Moves that target your abs, hips, thighs, strengthen your core and improve flexibility. All combined into a high intensity interval training routine to give you a total body makeover! So put on your dancing shoes and get ready to dance your way to fitness.

Social Dancing (Salsa, Cha Cha, Jive)

Want to learn the basics of SALSA, have some fun with your partner or make new friends? This class is designed for students with little or no salsa dance experience. You will learn fundamentals of salsa timing, basic footwork, turns, patterns, shines, and also be introduced to proper posture, weight transfer, frame and connection. No previous experience or partner required.

Contemporary

Classes are based on strong technique using different styles including contemporary, release technique, Broadway, and lyrical with an Indian influence. Class focuses on creativity, style and intensity, performance skills through combinations ranging from slow and graceful to fast-paced, across the floor work, leaps and turns. Expression and emotion through dance and movement is a vital aspect of the class.

Hip-Hop

Hip hop is a high-energy class that infuses the latest styles of street dancing, breaking, popping, and locking. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements. Hip hop dance requires students to have the strength and stamina to successfully perform moves. Therefore class includes upper and lower body conditioning as well as a rigorous warm-up to help prepare students for more intense movements.

Kids Combo

Creative movement class that introduces Bollywood, Jazz and Hip Hop to children. The class aims to teach students that dance is not limited to steps alone, but rather requires a deeper understanding of creativity, music, movement, mind and body. Our goal is to help students develop proper balance, body posture ad placement, rhythm, coordination, dance fundamentals and performance skills that are technical, exciting and fun. We help students build confidence and self esteem in an atmosphere of fun and learning.
